Maggie Brooks & Bill Taylor Receive Independence Endorsement
County Legislature & Town Supervisor Candidates Also Receive Endorsement
Monroe County Executive Maggie Brooks and District Attorney Candidate Bill Taylor have received the endorsement of the Independence Party.
“I am truly proud to have received the endorsement of the Monroe County Independence Party,” said Brooks. “As County Executive, I know that my record of reducing the size of County government, cutting the County property tax rate, and helping businesses create thousands of local jobs is in line with the core mission and values of the Independence Party, and I appreciate their strong support. I look forward to leading the Independence Party ticket and advocating for its message of good government throughout my reelection campaign, and in the years to come.”
In addition, 18 Republican candidates for County Legislature and 18 Supervisor candidates have received the endorsement.
“One of the most important traits in an effective District Attorney is the ability to exercise independence,” Taylor said. “I am honored that the Independence Party has endorsed my candidacy and recognizes my ability to serve our community as an effective District Attorney.”
